2/14/2019 5.3.012 Update:
- Event Quality (staffing, gender) is displayed.
- Mac version is now 64 bits. There may be differences in installation. And the automatic updater needs additional testing. You can manually download the latest version if the automatic updater doesn't work.
- Support for Dark Mode on Mac. There are still some objects that don't display properly in Dark Mode, but most of it works. Dark Mode for the scheduling grid can be manually set in Windows and Linux.
- Added Show Staff, similar to Show Campers, in the context menu of the schedule grid. This opens a grid for each staff member assigned to the event.

- Bunk Activity Summary prints bunk names in approximately the correct location. There is a known problem in the framework, waiting for vendor to fix. Workaround gets pretty close.

1/27/2018 5.3.001 Functional Release:
- Staffing rules have been changed. Old Min/Max/Target has been replaced with these:
- Minimum skill level to lead activity
- Minimum number of staff with this skill level
- Ratio: 1 staff for each __ campers
- Minimum total staff (not necessarily skilled)
- Option for at least one staff member same gender as campers
Check the settings for each activity as you may need to adjust the default values. Note that an event that is properly staffed may show errors if campers are added.
- Support for camper and staff gender in bunks and events.
- Travel rules and restrictions implemented.

- The big stuff:
- For all reports and schedules, the screen viewer allows you to refresh and print.
- Any report or schedule can be saved to a CSV (Spreadsheet) format.
- Added Meal Preparation screen and report to manage campers and staff scheduled for events with special meals (campouts, trips, time off, etc.)

12/1/2015 5.1.012 Update:
- Removed department percentages from staff schedules.

- Previous versions updated the database silently. From here forward users are warned and the database ID is also updated. This prevents undo or redo of previous operations into the updated database with a different schema, preventing database corruption.
- Added button in Special screen to delete all camper requests.
- When manually scheduling campers, unschedule existing event before scheduling new event.
- Select staff by unit - returns results sorted by bunk.
- Department schedules by time (the usual grid) or by staff (like the campers by bunk report.)

- recurrance indicators (number of times a bunk has the activity in a session) don't always show.
- Staff screen does not show bunk numbers if the bunk does not exist in the active weeks.
5/3/2014 5.1.004 Update:
- Function changes:
- New report in Errors group: Overloaded locations ignoring events that don't require staff.
- Check and Repair Database finds (and fixes) bunks that are scheduled outside of their sessions.
- Experimental feature: (This might change or be replaced by something different, feedback is welcome.)
- Live Report - a report on the screen that updates automatically each time the window becomes active, usually by clicking on it. The only Live Report at this time is a Bunk Activity Summary for a single activity. Look in the Scheduling menu to find this feature.
- Known issue:
- A bunk in non-consecutive sessions will appear available at times between the sessions.

- Merge Bunks: combines schedules of 2 bunks into one. Use Database Repair after a merge to remove any duplicate assignments to the same activity.

- Automatic Login is attempted after switching databases.

4/5/2014 5.1.001 Functional Release:
- Tablet Edition: a program designed for mid-size screens with a touch interface. This program is a portable version of the Camp Scheduler for department heads and other leadership staff. It has screens for viewing schedules, taking attendance, and flagging missing campers or staff. Any tablet with network access and a web browser should work. A server is required to host the application.
- Sessions: A session has a begin and end week. Each bunk is assigned to one or more sessions. The system displays only appropriate bunks based on current weeks.
- Missing campers and staff are tracked. When a person is flagged as missing, a warning popup appears.
- Medications are tracked for campers. Reports are available to indicate medications needed for out of camp trips. Most of this is invisible unless the user has the Medical box checked.
- Published Weeks in Database/Customize replaces Begin and End Weeks for individual users. Weeks are restricted to the published weeks unless the user has the Set Weeks box checked.
- Event attendance tracking: system can show which events need to be checked.
- Reports and schedules:
- Activity and Department schedules show number of campers for a signup event.
- Schedules and Event reports can show the number of times this event occurs in the session. Optional based on tag in Department or Activity.
- Duplicate camper names.
- Medication List for counselors (shows which campers need medications and at what times, does not show actual medications.)
- Staff Data import
- Event Data export
Outstanding issues in this release:
- On Linux, many buttons do not show their icon/image. Bug in the compiler, being fixed by the vendor.
- This version has not been tested on a Mac. Minimum Mac OS version supported is 10.7 Lion.
- Staff Data import needs further testing.
- Labels for medications for trips.
- Tablet Edition not available at this time because the web server is not set up.
